The Independent Pattern Company Alliance (IPCA) is sponsoring a sewing contest with the theme "Midnight Magic". Contestants can choose a pattern from one or more IPCA members (Dana Marie Designs, Fashion Patterns by Coni, Great Copy Patterns, Islander Sewing Systems, Kayla Kennington, L.J. Designs, Petite Plus Patterns, and Saf-T-Pockets Patterns). Preliminary judging will be done in late January from photograph submissions. Semi-finalists' garments will be displayed in March 2012 at the Sewing & Stitchery Expo in Puyallup, WA and the International Textile Expo in Las Vegas also in March. Several prize levels will be awarded. Complete details available by September 6.
