In this Forecast jacket, I used Iridescent Velvet in Purple and Royal. It was embossed with the large "Spring" design stamp. It was made to coordinate over the Four Seasons dress with a stenciled spring motif.
The embossed "Spring" design travels all along the lower jacket creating a wonderful border.
Detail of the embossed design. I staggered the images slightly to make the border more interesting.
Of course no lining can go unstamped.
Here I used the larger "Spring" design along the border and the smaller spring image throughout the rest of the royal purple lining.
In this Forecast dress and jacket, I used Batik Rayon.
The dress was made in "Wine" with the center panels stamped using "Petals" and mixing violet and just a touch of black textile paint.
The jacket made in "Wine Blooms" has a self bias tie. This is View D, with center panels. Inseam pockets, and slit openings at the center panel hem.
This Forecast dress was made with Kona Bay Cotton.
In the center panel I used "Teal Garden" and alternated the side panels with "Blue Vines" and Navy Leaves".
This is View D, with center panels and inseam pockets. The slit openings at hem were omitted.
Chamois Sueded Rayon Un-Stenciled & Ghost Stamped
I used Chamois Sueded Rayon. The center panels are "un-stenciled" and "ghost" stamped using "Solid Maple".
This is View D, with center panels. Full side panels, and slit openings at the center panel hem.
I used Autumn Print Rayon for the dress and Speckles for the coordinating jacket. This is View A, a very quick to sew garment!
